Subhadra International School, Ashta is the newest member of this huge and reputed group of Sant Dnyaneshwar Shikshan Sanstha’s at Ashta. Subhadra International School is named after late Mrs. Subhadra Dange wife of Shri. Annasaheb Dange the founder Chairman & former minister in Govt. of Maharashtra.
SIS was his dream project to give the best of CBSE education at a small town like Ashta at an affordable cost. The plan was started in 2019 but didn’t take off due to covid pandemic. Again in March 2022 the final decision was made to go ahead with the project. We started with new admissions and in the first year itself had 185 admissions done. The school is a CBSE school and has classes form Nursery to 8th Grade.
The project will have Nursery to 12th class children in the coming years. The school has a wonderful infrastructure separate building with playground, canteen, parking slot and a swimming tank. Besides excellent academics and experienced staff we have other activities like Skating, Taekwondo, Yoga, Malkhamb, dance and music taken everyday from 03.30 pm to 04.30 pm by expert trainers.
At SIS we look after the underachieving students taking regular remedial classes to make them do better. We do a lot of celebrations and competitions as per yearly schedule plan. We have special emphasis on making children– Read and write regularly, to improve their writing speed and reading skills we have even special emphasis on communicating only in English in the school campus. We have regular PTM’s and SMC Meetings to know about & inform parents above their child’s development and other activities like remedial & counseling sessions taken to help them to do better.
SIS is sure to make a dent in the coming years and will be among the Top schools in our area assuring our best including our Grade 10th & 12th results in coming years.
